I have had fibromyalgia since early childhood, but fibromyalgia doesn't have me. Among my other interests:  

I work full time in my home office writing books and articles about health and science.
I write fiction and poetry , and enjoy digital photography and photographic editing.
I am a hospice volunteer, which is by far the most rewarding thing I can think of to do in my life.  If you don't know about the hospice movement, I'd welcome the opportunity to tell you about it.  Write to me. 

I belong to the the Authors Guild and the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA). 

I'm a member of the medical ethics service at Bay State Franklin County Medical Center, Greenfield, Massachusetts, USA.

My home is in rural Western Massachusetts, USA, where my husband and I raise chickens and grow as much of our own food as we can.
